And so my drum n' bass output this year becomes a triptych, a hat trick. Big nasty synths, spacey leads and driving drums bring it all home, concluding a year that marked a return to my roots as a musician. Even though every track on this release is 169bpm, the energy ebbs and flows, but never lets go. While writing this, I recalled how all the tech I used to which I could afford from the Radio Shack catalog was now in the palm of my hand and them some for less any one of those items, and so I named the tracks after all the kit I never individually bought but yet now owned after a fashion. Seemed fitting to me.
