If the first Trillicon Chip was something I'd written then accidentally shelved, this sequel is hot off the cellphone. I'd continued to incorporate Chiptune flavors around the edges of a lot of my work since that EP, but coming off my latest Nerdcore LP and the major life changes that surrounded the work on that album, I needed something to clear my head. Thus, I sat down and, over a few evenings, I made a brisk, more HipHop than Trap flavored Chiptune EP. I specifically switched up my software so I could leverage the 8-bit synth and bit decimation in Caustic, and so I could use all the practice the Music For Tablets works has provided me in quickly expressing my vision.
